What type of website converts better? A beautiful website suitable to exhibit at a museum, or a simple website that focuses on search functionality? Anyone that has shopped on Amazon and Ebay knows that these (arguably ugly) websites are specifically built to generate product purchases. Because despite having millions of listings, shoppers can still easily search for rare mint snowglobes or specific Alf alarm clocks using an easy search interface.
That efficient search approach was one of the key goals when we helped Carbonfibrehoods.com design their recently launched Shopify ecommerce website. Our team of Shopify Partners and Google Adwords certified specialists converted Carbonfibrehoods.com’s old website to a Shopify store. Within the first week of launch, the new ecommerce site racked up sales worth hundreds of dollars. The effectiveness was rather surprising, because many of the product photos were not even uploaded yet!
